Bellingen may be a small town, but it packs a punch in terms of things to see and do. If you can pull yourself away from the stunning mountain views in our luxury accommodation, you can head into town for a coffee or bite to eat, have a browse around the eclectic shops and galleries, get a treatment in one of the wonderful wellness centres, take a swim in the river with the locals, check out beautiful the heritage buildings or simply soak up the relaxed, artsy vibe of the place. You’ll quickly notice that the locals are welcoming, and most people are smiling. There must be something in the air because Bellingen just seems to do that to people.
There’s plenty more to explore outside of town, be it paddling in the river valleys, heading up the Dorrigo Plateau to see the majestic rainforest, or exploring the many secluded beaches and bays on the coast. You won’t get bored, in fact you’ll probably wish you were staying longer.
